Halloween Weekend in Onancock

October 25th - 27th

Join us in Onancock for Halloween festivities, taking place from October 25th to 27th. Celebrate the spooky season with a weekend filled with festive activities for all ages. Welcome 1,200 cyclists on the CBES Between the Waters Bike Tour (see specials offered by businesses throughout town at Experience Onancock.)

Enjoy a vibrant display of costumes and seasonal decorations as the community gathers to showcase our Halloween spirit. There will also be tricks, treats, and events throughout town. Friday

Citizens for a Better Eastern Shore (CBES) Bike Tour - Cyclists arrive at The Onancock School

Pedal & Pour - Wine and Appetizer pairing, Historic Onancock School, 3-7 p.m. TICKETS

Letters from WWII - Lecture at Kerr Place starting at 6pm, free entry

Rocky Horror Picture Show - Starting 7pm at the Roseland Theater

Saturday

Tarrot Card Readings - Fable Made, 18 Market St. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Make an Appointment

Great Pumpkin Carve and Jack O’Lanterns on the Town Square: Carving noon-4pm Lighting at dusk. Sponsored by the Brockmeiers.

Halloween Parade (assemble at Ames St, runs 5 to 6pm finishing at Town Square - Register Below)

  • Zombie flash-dance - show up at 4pm dressed as a Zombie to learn the dance!

  • Cacophony Band - arrive at 4:30pm with pots & pans, kazoos other noise-making instruments!

  • Wag & Wiggle Walk - assemble at 4:45pm with your dogs and matching costumes!

  • Group Gang Costumes - have group costumes? assemble at 4:45pm!

  • Family Costumes - bring your kids and family to walk in the parade! assemble at 4:45pm

  • Bike Witches - assemble at 4:45pm with your bike or broom dressed like a witch!

Haunted Theatre - 5-9pm at the North Street Playhouse. $10 at the door.

Ghost Tales and Cocktail tours - Starting 7 pm at Ker Place, 2 tours available ($), tickets required, adults only. SOLD OUT

Creepy Onan-cocktail Trail - Downtown Bars & Restaurants will be serving themed drinks! #Onancocktails

Spooky Evening Shopping - Downtown exhibits and retail open until 7pm
