15th Annual Christmas Homes Tour

Join us on December 12, 2015 from 1-5PM for the 15th annual Onancock Christmas Homes Tour. This event is sponsored by the Onancock Business and Civic Association (OBCA) and over the past 14 years has donated close to $100,000 to various local non-profit organizations. This years profits will benefit Virginia Eastern Shorekeeper.  

Six historic Onancock homes will be decorated for Christmas and open for viewing offering visitors a rare opportunity to tour these beautiful homes and learn about their unique history and architectural significance.

Historic Cokesbury Church located on Market Street beside the town square hosts the annual Music Festival, which is free and open to the public. A variety of musical performances are planned from 1 - 5 p.m. including a Christmas Carol Sing-along. Visitors are encouraged to drop-in anytime throughout this event.

Christmas Homes Tour tickets are available on the day of the tour at Ker Place or at the Historic Onancock School for $20. If purchased before Thanksgiving, the price is $15.

Tickets will be available for purchase in early November at the following locations. In Onancock; Red Queen Gallery and Marsh Jewelers. In Onley; Book Bin. In Nassawadox; Northampton Lumber. And in Cape Charles; Rayfields Pharmacy and The Cape Charles Coffee House.

Santa's Arrival by Boat

Santa arrives by boat at the town Wharf at 11 AM on December 12th.  Bring your list of wants and wishes and let Santa know you have been a good boy or girl.

North St Playhouse - Holiday Production Mircle on 34th St. 8 PM  

Second Fridays in Onancock
Second Friday evening of each month, April through December 5-8 p.m. Participating shops and galleries stay open late featuring local artists, demonstrations and specials, with dining in international and eclectic eateries.

Onancock International Films
has made the Roseland Theatre the place to be on the second Thursday of the month for over eight years. A non-profit group of movie lovers research and choose films from around the world that will entertain the Eastern Shore. The key is a variety of cultures as well as a mix of comedy, romance and more serious films. Looking forward to continuing the tradition, they are now in their 27th season of four films, presented at 8 PM on the second Thursday of the month.

The Onancock Market
Located at the corner of Market and Ames Streets, The Onancock Market is open every Saturday 8AM to 12PM, May through October, Rain or Shine. This open air market features local farmers, watermen, artists and artisans who offer their fresh, seasonal, and locally grown and manufactured products and qualified art directly to residents and visitors in the community.
